Mission Statement
The Bibbs Foundation is committed to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement. Our mission is to inspire, engage, and uplift teens by providing comprehensive programs that foster academic excellence, character development, and leadership skills. We strive to bridge educational gaps, create safe spaces for learning and self-discovery, and equip students with the tools to navigate life’s challenges. Through mentorship, scholarships, and hands-on initiatives, we cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and resilience--ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential and take the next step toward a brighter future.
Description
The Bibbs Foundation, founded in 2020 - is dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement. Founded with a mission to support teens facing adversity, the foundation provides resources, programs, and events designed to foster personal growth, leadership, and resilience.
The Next Step Innovative Program is designed to provide a safe, creative, and informational community for adversity-impacted teens in the metro Atlanta area. Our program aims to foster personal growth, resilience, and optimism while offering guidance and resources to empower teens to take meaningful steps toward their future.
The program’s theme, "Next Steps," symbolizes progress and forward momentum. Whether participants feel uncertain or overwhelmed, taking the next step will empower them to launch into their future with purpose and confidence. We do this with 30 students year-round with our major 3-day event in January.
