Position Overview Ignite Classical School is seeking a creative and mission-aligned Marketing & Communications Volunteer to support our growing visibility, outreach, and engagement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in storytelling, content creation, branding, or community engagement-and who is excited to help drive both enrollment growth and fundraising success. The volunteer will collaborate with the school leadership to enhance how we communicate our mission, impact, and offerings to families, supporters, and the broader community. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of a marketing and communications strategy to grow enrollment and donor engagement Create or edit compelling content for social media, newsletters, website, print materials, and event promotion Help manage and expand our social media presence to connect with prospective families and supporters Assist with storytelling efforts, including collecting student/family testimonials and success stories Support the creation of branded materials for fundraising campaigns, open houses, and school events Help refine messaging for key audiences (e.g., families, donors, community partners) Ideal Candidate Enthusiastic about the mission of Ignite Classical School and educational equity Strong written communication skills and a creative eye for design and storytelling Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and/or email marketing tools Experience with Canva, basic graphic design, or website editing is a plus-but not required Organized, collaborative, and excited to bring ideas to the table What You’ll Gain A chance to shape the voice and brand of a growing school rooted in values and excellence Hands-on experience in mission-driven marketing, communications, and audience engagement A supportive, values-aligned team environment and meaningful opportunities to uplift students and families

Position Overview Ignite Classical School seeks a passionate and detail-oriented Fundraising Volunteer to support our growing development and advancement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, donor engagement, or campaign strategy-and who is excited to be part of a visionary school community. Working closely with the Director of Advancement and school leadership, the volunteer will help lay the groundwork for long-term fundraising success, contributing to critical initiatives such as our major gifts program, annual campaigns, and grants portfolio. Key Responsibilities Assist in shaping and executing a multi-year development and advancement strategy Support planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals and special events Help research and cultivate prospective major donors and assist in stewardship planning Identify relevant grant opportunities and support the writing and submission of grant proposals Maintain and improve donor records, tracking systems, and acknowledgment processes Collaborate with staff to ensure fundraising messaging reflects Ignite’s mission, impact, and values Attend occasional planning meetings (virtual or in person) and contribute to a collaborative team culture Ideal Candidate Passionate about educational equity and the mission of Ignite Classical School Strong communicator with solid writing and/or storytelling skills Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable working with Google Workspace and/or donor databases (helpful but not required) Prior experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or grant writing a plus-but not necessary What You’ll Gain Opportunity to shape the future of a growing school committed to academic excellence and inclusion Hands-on experience in strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and grant development A welcoming team environment and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the lives of students and families
