OCAOSW offers direct program services to ovarian cancer patients, including the Here4You Financial Assistance Program, which helps low-income women undergoing treatment pay for essential expenses like rent, heating, and medication. We execute the Survivors Teaching Students Program, designed to educate medical, nursing, and pharmacy students about survivors’ personal journeys and how they can better assist in care as they enter their professions. Other services include By Your Side curated chemotherapy care kits, trained peer support for newly diagnosed individuals or those facing a recurrence, educational sessions, fellowship events, monthly support groups, and the Trust Your Gut ovarian cancer symptom awareness campaign, which aims to educate the public.
