Summer Games Camp is in need of a camp nurse for Summer Games 2025 this summer. The camp nurse is required to be onsite at all times. The camp nurse is on call during all hours of the day, and may be woken up during the night if medical assistance is required. The camp nurse is also required to complete all training prior to their arrival to camp the day before campers arrive. Required: Hold a valid license or certification in one of the following: Physician or Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, or Practical Nurse Emergency Medical Technician First aid certification in Responding to Emergencies or equivalent Hold a valid certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent. Duties: Monitor, evaluate, and care for the health and well-being of campers and staff. Work with a diverse staff in a collaborative manner and willingly share leadership with all ages. Agree and follow the staff code of conduct, all staff policies, and camp health service policy. Review camper health forms and screen campers on arrival and departure and inform staff as needed. Maintain health center inventory and keep first aid kits fully stocked. Provide first aid kits and have staff report any treatment to you for inclusion in log. Secure, document, and dispense medications for campers and staff. Treat and document injuries, camper illness, or other medical problems, arrange emergency transportation, and keep the camp director and parents informed. Check the living quarters for health, safety, and cleanliness. Attend pre-camp and ongoing staff meetings and training. Share faith willingly, factually, and honestly without force or unnecessary emotion. Joyfully participate in all camp functions. Report any suspicion of child abuse to the Camp Director and discuss it with no on else. Notify Camp Licensing when appropriate using the incident report form (BCAL-4605). Assist with other job duties outside of the normal scope of their job description to ensure that programs run smoothly and safely or is deemed necessary by the Camp Director.

Summer Games 2025 will be at Camp Albright in Reed City, Michigan. Lifeguards are required to be at camp at least one hour prior to scheduled water activities and is to remain onsite until all water activities have concluded for the afternoon. Lifeguards are welcome to join us for lunch prior to water activities. If needed, housing and food can be provided if the lifeguard is traveling too far to commute. There are also other roles and daily jobs that need to be completed by volunteers, which you are welcome to assist with. There are two different types of water activities which our lifeguards need to fulfill: river and pool: River Lifeguard: MSupervise canoeing and tubing activities on the river and must be comfortable working in a kayak to monitor participants and assist as needed. Pool Lifguard: Oversee all swim tests, supervise pool activities, and ensuring camper safety while swimming. It is preferable to have you work the entire week of camp, but it is not required. Summer Games Camp is in need of two female cabin counselors for Summer Games 2025. Cabin counselors will be expected to arrive at camp one day prior to camper arrival. They will also be expected to complete all required training. Responsibilities: Work with a diverse staff in a collaborative manner and willingly share leadership with all ages. Agree and follow the staff code of conduct and all staff policies. Attend pre-camp and ongoing staff meetings and training. Supervise a cabin of no more than six to eight campers and three to four Huddle Leaders. Always maintain order and conduct in the cabin. Guide evening devotions before lights out. Share faith willingly, factually, and honestly without force or unnecessary emotion. Be an outstanding role model for the campers and Huddle Leaders. Identify and meet campers’ needs and teach good self-care and independent living skills. Encourage campers to participate in all cabin and camp activities. Lead morning calisthenics and games on the field before lunch under guidance of Games Director. Encourage Huddle Leaders to take lead during cabin activities when appropriate. Always monitor, evaluate, and care for camper health and well-being. Greet campers and families upon arrival and orientate them to camp. Establish cabin rules, responsibilities, and emergency procedures with campers. Help campers wake up and get ready for the day, prepare for water activities and Flat On Back in the afternoon, and get ready for bed in the evening. Joyfully participate in all cabin activities and camp functions. Report any suspicion of child abuse to the Camp Director and discuss it with no on else. Assist with other job duties outside of the normal scope of their job description to ensure that programs run smoothly and safely or is deemed necessary by the Camp Director.

Work with a diverse staff in a collaborative manner and willingly share leadership with all ages. Agree and follow the staff code of conduct and all staff policies. Attend pre-camp and ongoing staff meetings and training. Encourage campers to participate in all cabin and camp activities. Always monitor, evaluate, and care for camper health and well-being. Greet campers and families upon arrival and orientate them to camp. Share leadership equally with huddle partner and know where all huddle members are at all times. Act as a responsible role model and display appropriate behavior before all campers. Always monitor, evaluate, and care for camper health and well-being. Assist Cabin Counselor with Maintain order, conduct, and cleanliness of the cabin. Evening devotionals before lights out. Establish cabin rules, responsibilities, and emergency procedures with campers. Help campers wake up and get ready for the day, prepare for water activities and Flat On Back in the afternoon, and get ready for bed in the evening. Joyfully participate in all camp functions and encourage campers to participate in all activities. Assist with other job duties outside of the normal scope of their job description to ensure that programs run smoothly and safely or is deemed necessary by the Camp Director.
