Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Southern California Counseling Center to offer high-quality psychological counseling to those of limited income, to provide exceptional training and support within a supportive environment for Center counselors, supervisors and staff, and to develop and maintain programs that respond to the needs of our multi-cultural community.

Description

SCCC has long been a premier learning Center for trainees and interns working on MFT hours and paraprofessionals. SCCC Offers individual, couple, family and group counseling on a sliding scale. We offer counseling that helps the client explore their options and to maximise their strengths, abilities, and self-healing capacities. We have TAPP The Abuse Prevention Program, Empowerd Parenting, GATE Gang Awareness Training & Education. TLC: Training Lay Counselors, Conversations for Change and SOS School Outreach Services. Each of these programs were formed to meet the needs of our community. All of this done without government funding.
