The mission of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce is to create and maintain a positive business climate that fosters economic prosperity through programs that sustain local businesses, promote tourism, enhance our members' success, and contribute to a thriving quality of life.
Description
The Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce represents a major portion of the Westerly-Stonington area's business and professional community. We are the largest southern Rhode Island chamber of commerce. The 800+ member businesses of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce represent many aspects of the business world. From local retail trade and professional services to manufacturing and international exporting, Chamber members provide goods and services, jobs, and tax revenue to benefit our residents, our community, and our world. Primary objectives of the Chamber include creating a strong business voice and improving the local economy while maintaining the area's high quality of livability.
