Volunteers have always been an essential part of that mission, offering their time, kindness, and support when it is needed most.
Description
As a Munson Healthcare Hospice volunteer, you have the power to make an incredible difference in someone’s life. Whether you prefer to work directly with patients or assist behind the scenes, there’s a role for you. Opportunities include:
Patient Support: Sit with patients, read aloud, pray together, share music, hold a hand, or simply provide comforting companionship.
Family Support: Help families with errands, give caregivers a much-needed break, or lend a listening ear during difficult moments.
Complementary Therapies: If you have specialized skills - such as massage, music, or pet therapy - you can offer treatments that promote comfort and relaxation.
Office Assistance: Help keep our hospice programs running smoothly by supporting administrative tasks in our office.
