Mission Statement

YEAH! Corps’ mission is to employ under-resourced youth, ages 14 through 18, through art & design, empowering them to be change makers Southeastern Massachusetts. Teens are paid an hourly wage and held to a high standard to create engaging, innovative, art + design products for businesses, municipalities, and individual clients. Clients pay real money for the creativity and products young people.During the important high school years, young people are developing life-long interests as they begin the transition into adulthood. They are hungry for community, looking for role-models of future success, enthusiastic to build skills through doing, and are passionate to have a real voice in the world. The learning is through doing - problems solved, resources identified, and everyone contributing - and the successes build self-confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Revenue is a balance of earned income from selling goods and services, workforce development funding and contributed support.
