Mission Statement
STEM In The Rockaways is an organization dedicated to not only introducing STEM concepts but also nurturing and developing these ideas throughout an individual's lifetime. We aim to introduce STEM to young children, encourage it in youth, and help individuals harness and master it in adulthood. Our organization serves disenfranchised communities that often lack access to STEM resources. Our programs are designed to be independent of any one organization that connects us with a learner, ensuring we support the learner's growth continuously.

We’re an organization driven by the mission to make STEM accessible and engaging for all, focusing on underserved communities that often lack access to essential STEM resources. Our programs are designed to inspire a lifelong journey in STEM, from introducing foundational concepts to young children, encouraging exploration and innovation in youth, and guiding individuals toward mastery in adulthood.
Through a consistent, supportive approach, we’re dedicated to empowering each participant, bridging gaps, and fostering growth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
