Mission Statement
Inspiring My Generation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the suicide rate through mental health awareness, conversation, education, and compassionate support. We strive to create a world where mental health is destigmatized and individuals feel empowered to seek help, engage in open conversations, and build emotional resilience. By amplifying mental health stories, providing essential resources, and fostering a sense of community, we aim to inspire positive change, promote well-being, and save lives. Together, let's normalize the conversation on mental health and create a future where no one feels alone in their journey.
Description
Inspiring My Generation is a non-profit with the intent of reducing the suicide rate through awareness, conversation, education, and support. We believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges. Our goals are to normalize the conversation and reduce the suicide rate through spreading awareness and providing resources. Our main initiatives include our encouragement card program, spreading hope one card at a time. We strive to bring comfort and support to patients hospitalized in psychiatric wards nationwide through handmade cards of encouragement.
Our Normalize The Conversation Podcast opens up conversations with guests from around the world. These guests include different advocates, individuals with lived experiences, and licensed professionals. We have donated over 20,000 cards and have 200+ podcast episodes with licensed professionals, advocates, and more. Our founder and President, Francesca Reicherter, has created six interactive workbooks. She has presented at events such as NAMI CON 2023, CrisisCon 2024, and the Bridging the Gap 2024 Annual Conference.
