North Alabama Trails and Recreation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to foster outdoor recreation development throughout North Alabama

Description

Currently serving 18 counties including Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, and Winston fostering outdoor recreation for diverse audiences. We support developers, managers, and volunteers in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces. We increase outdoor activity for beginners, families, and enthusiasts through events and programs. We also strengthen the outdoor industry by supporting businesses and entrepreneurs. We achieve this through hosting outdoor events and cleanups, educational webinars and workshops, and regional trail coalition meetings.
