Description

Austin Airport TSA Canine teams are looking for individuals or groups of volunteers to help in training our Department of Homeland Department Canines. The decoy program is crucial to the success of our teams and we need volunteers to keep our canines motivated and successful.

The decoy will be fitted with a training aid either on their body or in a bag. The decoy will be asked to either walk through out the airport or to sit in a location while the K9 teams tray to find them. Decoys will be escorted by staff members at all times.

To volunteer for the decoy program you must be 18 years old and willing to donate 1.5 hours to 3 ours of their time. Free parking will be provided! Any additional questions can be directed to William Ashby at william.ashby@tsa.dhs.gov or 5124879638.
