Mission Statement

The mission of the Veteran Farmers of New Jersey is to allow any veteran or active duty service person the ability to become involved in or learn more about farming and agriculture on any level. We accomplish this mission through education, training , mentoring, and fellow ship for our veterans free of charge.

Description

Veteran Farmers of New Jersey History

The founding of our great country and its states like New Jersey is based on our ancestors ability to survive through living off the land and the family farm.

In 1783 after the revolutionary war ended our first soldiers would return to their New Jersey homesteads and farms and become New Jerseys First Veteran Farmers.

Some 250 years later todays veterans united bringing the organization to life.

We are housed under NOFA NJ, a 501(c)(3) licensed non-profit.

We are working with various organizations throughout the state and would welcome any assistance in promoting or taking part in our programs, and are in need of an additional officer to create our own non profit and to assist our veterans.
