Senior Luncheon Server

Third Wednesday of each month, we are looking for volunteers willing to serve water, coffee, and dessert to a lovely group of seniors at Village Green Community Center in Kingston. We would need to have you here at 10 am until about 2 pm. Seniors love to chat with servers and we love to spoil them and make them feel special. If this sounds like a good fit, please sign up!

AARP Tax-Aide Volunteer Tax Preparer in 2026 (for TY 2025)

We're not yet to the tax filing deadline for tax year 2024 but we're ALREADY thinking ahead to tax year 2025. The Village Green Community Center in Kingston is home to one of many free AARP Tax-Aide locations in Kitsap County from February-April 15 each year. As a volunteer with AARP Tax-Aide you will be trained on how to use the software and file returns for clients of the program. Training for the next tax season will begin in the fall of 2025 so sign up today as an AARP Volunteer!!

Pie in the Park > Community Event & Fundraiser

Every year on the 2nd Thursday in August is Pie in the Park. A community event open to all that is also the big annual fundraising event for the Village Green Foundation, the non-profit partner supporting Kingston's Village Green Community Center and Park. Here are just some of the volunteer opportunities: pie bakers (we need tasting pies, raffle pies, and auction pies) event setup raffle ticket and golden ticket sales pie slicing photography event cleanup Thank you!
