Mission Statement

Mission Statement At Nepali Golden Church, our mission is to serve, uplift, and empower Bhutanese and Nepali refugee families as they rebuild their lives in the United States. Rooted in faith, compassion, and community, we provide essential resources such as food assistance, baby and family support, employment aid, educational programs, and transportation services. Through Bible study, youth mentorship, cultural preservation, and pastoral care, we strive to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen families, and foster a sense of belonging. Our commitment is to bridge the gap for refugees facing language barriers, unemployment, and isolation, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive. We invite passionate volunteers to join us in making a lasting impact--offering hope, love, and practical assistance to those in need. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community where every individual has the opportunity to flourish.

Nepali Golden Church is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving Bhutanese and Nepali refugee families in the U.S. Our mission is to provide spiritual guidance, essential resources, and community support to help refugees integrate, rebuild, and thrive.

Our Story

Forced to flee Bhutan due to religious and ethnic persecution, many Bhutanese Nepali families endured decades in refugee camps before resettling in the U.S. Yet, challenges persisted-language barriers, unemployment, and social isolation hindered their progress. Recognizing this, Nepali Golden Church was founded to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Our Impact
  • Food Pantry: Feeding 100+ families monthly.
  • Youth Empowerment: Bible studies, leadership training, and mentorship.
  • Employment Support: Job placement, resume help, and interview prep.
  • Transportation Services: Free rides for medical, job, and church needs.
  • Education & Culture: English/Citizenship classes, music, dance, and sports programs.
