Traveling Surgeons empowers communities through essential surgical care, enriching lives with compassion and purpose. Our mission is to transform futures, one surgery at a time, by providing access to life-changing medical interventions where they're needed most.

Description

Traveling Surgeons was founded in 2023 by Dr. Handel Robinson, a compassionate surgeon who was inspired to make a difference during a solo mission to Rwanda and his wife Darya Robinson. Since then, the organization has grown to include a dedicated team of medical professionals, volunteers, and supporters. Traveling Surgeons is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and operates with a board of directors providing governance and oversight.
