Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a safe space for Women and Girls of color to have a culturally enriching learning experience.To create a loving, encouraging, and culturally supportive environment for Black women that inspires self-actualization and community building To provide both our elders and young Black women with access to successful, socially engaged, and politically conscious men willing to engage in honest intergenerational conversations and relationships. To encourage the building of sisterhood, comradery, and friendships among Black women that embraces our cultural and historical lineage and traditions as queens of African descent. We achieve this through: Four Pillars of self, family, community and enterprise. Further, women are encouraged to contribute to BWL through focused committees: Wellness Finance Hospitality Communication Outreach and Education
Description
We are a resource, network and support group that provides community resource information, family engagement and self-improvement programing and opportunities for minority women and girls of color.
