Mission Statement
Africa Children’s Foundation (ACF) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization established to offer aid and resources to children and youth in African countries. As a foundation, we aspire to provide a cultural link throughout the African diaspora and promote awareness of ongoing African issues while providing aid to the motherland to the fullest potential. Our mission is to use our platform and voices to build a better life for families in West African countries. We aspire to create a comfortable environment and opportunities to help children in low socioeconomic communities live a meaningful life. Our centers and programs hope to give children access to housing, education, and adequate healthcare.
Description
ACF stands strongly on its three core principles which are to teach, protect and guide all children. We were established to ensure that children/youth are protected in their home countries by supporting their rights of access to education, healthcare, and shelter. Our main mission as a foundation is to ensure and provide a happy and safe environment where children/youth can learn and grow. Our vision is to build children centers in West African countries to house abandoned children/ youth, our centers will be a safe place for individuals to express and be themselves. Our programs and initiatives are centered around five key focus areas: Education, Health, Gender Equity, Economic Stability, and Empowerment. Each initiative addresses one or more of these essential pillars.
