Description
John Boyd Thacher State offers environmental education for the public and volunteer opportunities to individuals, school groups, businesses, and people who just love the park. Our volunteer opportunities include helping staff with large events, doing trail work to make them safe for park patrons, removing invasive species to help with ecological restoration, and animal monitoring. If you are interested in any volunteer opportunities please call the volunteer coordinator at (518) 872-0800, reach out by email: Ian.Evans@parks.ny.gov, or fill out this link: https://forms.gle/kbECy3kEPcfQkxKD8
