The 1st 28 Foundation is looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to help us spread awareness, connect with survivors, and grow our community online. What You Will Do Create & schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) Design eye-catching graphics and videos using tools like Canva (or suggest your favorites!) E ngage with our online community-respond to comments, start conversations, and help survivors feel seen Come up with creative campaigns to inspire action, increase donations, and grow our audience Track performance to see what’s working and suggest new strategies Gain Experience to help you build a strong resume What We Are Looking For ✅ Someone who loves social media and understands what makes content engaging ✅ A storyteller who knows how to connect with people through words, images, and video ✅ Experience with Canva, social media scheduling tools, or basic video editing (not required but a plus!) ✅ Passion for mental health, trauma recovery, and community support ✅ A self-starter who can bring fresh ideas and make things happen Why You Will Love This Role You’ll be making a real impact-your work will help survivors feel supported and connected. Do you want to help trauma survivors get the funding and resources they need to heal? If you have a passion for research, fundraising, or writing, this is your chance to make a real impact. The 1st 28 Foundation is looking for a Grant Research & Fundraising Volunteer to help us find funding opportunities that will allow us to expand our programs and reach more survivors. Why This Role Matters? Right now, many survivors don’t have access to the tools they need to heal. The 1st 28 Foundation provides free journals, digital resources, and empowerment programs to trauma survivors, but we need funding to grow. Every grant we secure means more survivors get the support they deserve. Your work will directly help us provide more healing resources, expand partnerships, and make a lasting impact. What You Will Do ✔️ Research and identify grant opportunities for trauma recovery programs ✔️ Compile a list of potential donors, sponsors, and corporate partners ✔️ Assist in writing fundraising materials and sponsorship proposals ✔️ Help with crowdfunding campaigns and donor outreach ✔️ Work with our team to develop creative fundraising strategies What We Are Looking For Strong research and writing skills (grant writing experience is a plus, but not required!) Someone who loves finding opportunities and making connections Passion for mental health, trauma recovery, and nonprofit work Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience with Google Docs, Excel, or fundraising platforms (helpful but not required Estimated Time Commitment 5-10 hours per week Why You'll Love This Role You’ll directly help secure funding to support trauma survivors You’ll gain valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant research You’ll be part of a growing movement to make healing resources accessible You’ll work with a passionate team dedicated to making a real difference Are You Ready To Help?
