The Greystone Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) public charity based in Avon. Our mission is to alleviate economic hardship for struggling households, provide constructive budgetary advice, and foster long term economic self-sufficiency. Through collaboration with our network of over 50 referral organizations, we serve a diverse cross-section of ages, household types, and ethnic groups in Connecticut.

We work directly with eligible clients who are struggling to pay for housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, or other essential services. Our objective is to resolve the household’s immediate financial challenges to prevent evictions, repossessions, collections, or service interruptions, and reduce missed health care visits, work absences, or school days. By intervening at a critical juncture, we stop overdue bills from escalating into severe long term adverse consequences.
