The Hernando Historical Museum Association preserves and shares the rich history of Hernando County through three unique museums: the May-Stringer House, the 1885 Brooksville Train Depot, and the Countryman One-Room Schoolhouse.

Volunteers are the heart of our mission! Whether you love history, enjoy engaging with the community, or want to be part of exciting events in a haunted Victorian house, a historic train depot, or a one-room schoolhouse, we have a place for you.
