Mission Statement

Building Self-Esteem Through Life Skills The mission of the Corner4Success Charitable Foundation (C4S Foundation) is to empower young at-risk girls by building their self-esteem through life skills education. We provide educational workshops and programs that focus on financial literacy, personal development, and essential life skills, including emotional intelligence, communication skills, etiquette, critical thinking, problem- solving, time management, and organization. Our initiative aims to prepare young girls for the workforce by fostering confidence, a sense of community, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential and become positive contributors to society.

Description

The C4S Foundation provides access to not only basic life skills such as hygiene, nutrition,
and image through in-person workshops; but we also educate young girls through our
entertaining online courses:

* Address and promote etiquette as it relates to today’s world
* Advocate for personal development and financial literacy
* Present the benefits of being assertive versus aggressive.
* Post-pandemic, the need for conflict resolution is at an all-time high
* Acknowledge the benefits of avoiding premarital sex, drugs, and alcohol.
* Provide performing arts opportunities

The issues young women have faced for centuries has been exacerbated with the onset of
the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now, more than ever, young women need guidance, patience,
and positive advice on how to cope with the complexities of the world we live in. We
educate young girls about the importance of building their self-esteem, explore why it’s
OK to be "different", introduce them to etiquette standards, and emphasize the benefits of
avoiding premarital sex, drugs, and alcohol.
Building self-esteem helps to prepare them with workforce values in mind. Those values
are qualities, principles and standards that really matter in today’s world. Knowing these
values can help them plan a career and look for opportunities to achieve the success they
deserve.
