You don’t have to be a native English speaker to volunteer for this project. You will have to be flexible, open-minded, and proactive. A foreign volunteer not only teaches English, but also shares his or her culture and experiences. Volunteer as an English teacher in Matapuquio-school. Use your knowledge of the English language and share it with the Peruvian children. You will have our assistance, organize lively and interesting lessons, and actively contribute to the education of the Peruvian children. Decent preparation of your lessons and correct pronunciation are important. And, of course, the ability to create fun lessons!

The Importance of a Gap Year Volunteer Abroad at La Casa de Adobe Volunteer: Taking a gap year to volunteer abroad is an enriching experience that not only helps communities in need but also allows volunteers to gain invaluable skills and cultural insights. At La Casa de Adobe Volunteer, we offer a unique opportunity for international volunteers to engage in hands-on work such as carpentry, electricity, painting, and construction. These projects provide essential infrastructure improvements to underprivileged areas while also offering volunteers an opportunity to develop practical skills and immerse themselves in a new way of life. Volunteer programs at La Casa de Adobe Volunteer focus on construction, carpentry, and other trades to help bridge this gap. By working alongside local artisans and community members, gap year volunteers contribute to building structures that improve the quality of life for those who need it most. Whether it’s constructing homes, repairing schools, or setting up community centers, every effort makes a lasting difference.
