The Private Sector is a unique, all volunteer, non-profit corporation designed in response to the needs of the old, the young, the hungry and the unhoused. Formed by ordinary citizens, The Private Sector seeks to locate funds, goods and services, in order to distribute our nation’s surplus to those in need
Description
Since it's inception in 1984, The Private Sector has provided food, shelter, clothing and social services to thousands of familite and individuals in. the East Bay of San Francssco, CA, and the North Shore of Oahu, HA. All contributions directly benefit recipients, with a small percentage designated for operational costs. The Private Sector pays no salaries. The entire staff, including the Executive Director are volunteers.
