Description

This organization will provide direct coaching and/or counseling, benefit application assistance, short-term and long-term goal creation, personal education and training in the areas of:

• Basic needs
• Health
• Financial well-being
• Housing
• Food security
• Career planning
• Adult and continuing education
• Parenting
• General financial assistance

The services will focus on coaching and counseling of low-income individuals and families who wish to improve their circumstances through dedicated goal setting and long-term planning. General assistance funds may be available to address barriers to meeting goals if all other options have been exhausted (i.e., car repair, technology, fees, etc.). ForwardU will partner with local government and nonprofits to provide a more holistic and sustainable approach to addressing poverty in our community.
