Join Our Amazing Team! As we expand, we are seeking a dynamic leader to help shape and implement our fundraising and advocacy efforts. Responsibilities: **Lead Fundraising Initiatives: Manage and execute a variety of events, such as health fairs, galas, workshops, and online campaigns. **Develop Strategies: Create and implement approaches to secure sponsorships from businesses and individuals. **Engage a Diverse Audience: Use creative outreach and communication campaigns to engage a wide array of supporters. **Drive Financial Contributions: ** Work towards achieving the organization’s financial goals. Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: **Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure alignment between fundraising initiatives and the organization's overall mission and strategic plan. **Collaborate with the Treasurer to manage the budget effectively and obtain approval for expenses. Promote Fundraising Activities: **Ensure that all relevant information about fundraising events is accurately and promptly shared on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and website. Flexibility: The Coordinator is not required to attend every event, allowing for flexibility in their schedule. We are looking for volunteers to assist with event preparation, day of event set-up, hosting and other various aspects of our events. We host multiple events through the year including health fairs, educational workshops, fundraisers and luncheons/dinners. Roles: Flyer Distribution: Distribute flyers and promotional materials in designated locations to increase awareness of our events and programs. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with fellow volunteers and staff to coordinate outreach efforts and achieve shared goals. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. Community Engagement: Represent our organization with enthusiasm and professionalism while interacting with the community. Build positive relationships with community members. Event Support: Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of various events and activities. This may include tasks such as setup, teardown, registration, and providing logistical support. Photographer/Videographer: Capture high-quality photos and videos during events to document our activities and showcase our impact. Basic photography/videography skills are preferred.
