Mission Statement

Henna Crowns of Courage is dedicated to empowering women on their cancer journey through the transformative power of somatic henna art therapy. We create intentional and sacred ceremonies, adorning the heads of cancer survivors with intricate henna crowns after they experience hair loss due to chemotherapy. Our mission is to inspire courage and resilience by sharing profound stories and the deeply personal process of receiving a henna crown through compelling videos and narratives. We are committed to raising awareness about the diverse forms of cancer and educating the public on early detection and prevention. By highlighting the mental health benefits of art therapy, we advocate for the choice of love and courage over fear and uncertainty. While our mission began with supporting cancer patients and survivors, our work is rooted in helping people through mental health, reconnect with their inner strength and beauty, transforming pain into purpose and fear into love.
