Mission Statement
We welcome and support those who have fled their home countries and settle here in the greater Kansas City area and in displaced camps globally. We unite individuals, groups and institutions whose goal is to welcome refugees and assist them to become new Americans, and extend their help and support those in displaced camps. Almost 500,000 people fled from West Darfur in Sudan to eastern Chad to escape violence in 2023 and now face a dire humanitarian crisis with limited food, water, and health care.
