Mission Statement
To uplift the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering independence, enhancing quality of life, and promoting community engagement through programs rooted in local culture and values. We envision a world where all individuals, with and without disabilities, live in Lokahi - a unity that celebrates each person’s unique strengths - and supports them in leading fulfilling lives.
Description
Kākou Club (KC) is an adult day program opening soon on Oahu, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, aged 18 and up. Our program will provide a supportive and enriching physical environment where our members can thrive through various programs and activities that promote personal growth, social interaction, and community engagement. We plan to offer a wide range of services including life skills exercises, recreational and creative activities, and volunteer opportunities to ensure our members lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Join us in making a positive impact in our community!
