The Fit & Food Connection is a new non-profit serving people in Northern St. Louis. We provide free food assistance to low-income families and empower people to get healthy through free fitness classes and nutrition education. We need volunteers to assist with delivering our our food items from St. Peter's Church Ferguson (1425 Stein Rd. St. Louis, MO 63135) to community members in North St. Louis, Saturday, 2/15/25, from approximately 12:00 PM - 1:30 or 2:00 PM! Task: Assisting with driving food bags to our community members, typically 5-7 people per route. Time: During this food pantry, sorters should arrive at 12:00 PM. Location: St. Peter's Church - Ferguson 1425 Stein Rd Saint Louis, MO 63135 Parking: Please park in the LOWER parking lot, located directly off West Florissant Ave. This is not the main church parking lot located off Stein Rd, rather a secondary/resource center lot located next to the childcare center. If coming in heading west on West Florissant, the lot is immediately after passing the church, and if coming in east on West Florissant, the lot is immediately before the church. There is a colorful childcare sign and fire hydrant right next to driveway entrance to lot! Whether you are available for one-time or ongoing assistance, we are committed to finding the right opportunity for you!
