Mission Statement
Georgia Mattson Memorial Shelter is established to ensure that low-income homeless women and children as well as those experiencing domestic violence are housed in a safe environment while being afforded the opportunity to seek out ways to better themselves without concern for shelter, food and safety. The Weaver Foundation provides services to women age 18 and older and to women with children up to the age of 17. There is no discrimination with regards to race, age, or beliefs. Our services are freely given. However, we reserve the right to refuse or terminate services when necessary in order to maintain a safe environment for all residents using the Georgia's House facility.
Description
The Weaver Foundation's Georgia's House facility is a safe haven for women and children while they rebuild their independence in the community. We offer a variety of services to our clients; individual beds w/linens, showers with toiletries, clothing close and food pantry, Kitchen to prepare meals, Family room with tv, books, and children's toys, and Case Management. In addition, we provide information on additional accessible resources within the community and abroad.
