Mission Statement
The southern Pines Welcome Center was founded in 2005. It's a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves as a Welcome Center and A small cultural museum that is housed in the southern Pines Train Station in downtown Southern Pines.. We are a bit of a time capsule with artifacts from the Town and the Train Station, along with vintage photos, literature and information about the Town and Moore County and the many local destinations that are worth a visit.
Description
The Welcome Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. we are seeking volunteers who have a love of history and enjoy meeting and greeting visitors and sharing information about the history of the Town and the Train Station's and sharing what things there are to see and do.
