The National Food Recovery Alliance is an amazing group, creating a space for food recovery organization collaboration that has not existed before this. I work at a nonprofit organization, FoodRecovery.org, and the connections we've made through this group so far have helped us recover more food & share surplus food with those in need. Although NFRA is still in its early stages, I'm impressed by what we've accomplished so far and look forward to see all that we can do with more support :)

I support the National Food Recovery Alliance (NFRA) as a volunteer because its mission aligns with my commitment to strengthening food security, promoting environmental sustainability, and supporting businesses through the recovery and redistribution of surplus food. NFRA unites a diverse group of leaders and organizations, creating a collaborative network dedicated to ensuring that surplus food remains a valuable resource and is not unnecessarily wasted. Volunteering with NFRA has allowed me to contribute to building a more sustainable food system while connecting with passionate and proactive individuals who share this common goal. It’s inspiring to witness how collective efforts can drive meaningful change within this fast-growing industry, and being part of NFRA enables me to actively support a cause I care deeply about. I highly recommend volunteering with NFRA!
