Healing the Midsouth

Description

Healing the Mid-South Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to building sustainable communities in Memphis, TN. I started this organization after a pivotal experience driving through a sector of Memphis that showed visible signs of hopelessness and despair-not only in the landscape but in the people. A deep passion began to form in me to make a difference in this community.

To date, we have successfully completed a community garden project located in South Memphis off Wellington Ave and E Olive Ave. This project was developed to increase local access to fresh produce and enhance neighborhood sustainability, contributing to our growing portfolio of community-focused initiatives.

We are now exploring funding opportunities for our next project. This affordable housing development aims to address pressing housing needs within Memphis's low-income neighborhoods.
