Volunteer with the Thaddeus Resource Center to organize donations! Why:The Donation Center Volunteer plays an important role in carrying out the organization's mission to empower girls and women. They help sort and organize incoming donations, maintain a clean donation center, keep track of inventory, and assist with other related tasks. Who:The Thaddeus Resource Centeris a non-profit organization whose purpose is toRESTORE HOPE, INSPIRE GROWTH, and EMPOWER GIRLS & WOMENthrough housing, mental health services, education, life skill development, workforce training, and other supportive services. What to Expect: Participate in Thaddeus Resource Center in-person events. Sort and organize incoming donations: clothes, toys, and other essential items. Greet clients when they arrive at the donation center. Assist in unloading incoming donations and ensure items are in good condition and ready for distribution. Provide help as clients browse available items. Maintain a clean and organized donation center. Help track inventory levels and restock as needed. Assist in any immediate service or related projects if required. Help clean up the on-site location at the end of each day. What's Required: Ability to interact with diverse client population in a respectful manner. Attention to detail when sorting and organizing donations. Commitment to our organization's missions and values. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for extending periods. Families are more than welcome to volunteer together, we ask that any children under the age of 16 be accompanied by their parent/guardian. They assist clients in understanding what they're looking for or in need of and maintain a clean and inviting space for both clients and volunteers, ensuring a pleasant donation center and shopping experience. Who: The Thaddeus Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to RESTORE HOPE, INSPIRE GROWTH, and EMPOWER GIRLS & WOMEN through housing, mental health services, education, life skill development, workforce training, and other supportive services. What to Expect: Engage with clients to understand what they're looking for or in need of. Familiarize yourself with the layout of the Donation Center to locate requested items. Ensure a pleasant, easy shopping experience. Work with staff to maintain the donation center well-organized and clean. Keep track of inventory levels. Ensure items are properly sorted and stored. Maintain a clean and inviting space for both clients and volunteers. What's Required: Communication and interpersonal skills Previous customer service experience preferred Ability to interact with diverse client population in a respectful manner. Virtual Opportunity
Volunteer virtually with the Thaddeus Resource Center to provide mental health services for clients! Why: The Supervisor position works closely with clinical staff members, consulting and collaborating on client's progress and treatment plans. The Clinical Supervisor, supervises and manages MSW/LMFT Interns, Associates and Graduates to ensure provision of quality client care and effective team performance. Who: The Thaddeus Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to RESTORE HOPE, INSPIRE GROWTH, and EMPOWER GIRLS & WOMEN through housing, mental health services, education, life skill development, workforce training, and other supportive services. What to Expect: Plan, implement, and provide mental health services to clients Complete clinical assessment, diagnosis, progress note, and all other required paperwork in a timely manner and within the Medi-Cal standards and develop a treatment plan Provide specialized group therapy to teens and families in need of social services. Facilitate and lead Therapists meetings Provide Clinical Supervision and training to interns and trainees Maintain client records and complete all agency and/or third-party payer required reports and paperwork Monitor and supervise the development and implementation of treatment/case plan aftercare plans and assessment of the changing needs of clients. Provide clinical supervision and performance management of program staff. Identify weekly treatment goals Develop and maintain contacts with parents/caregivers, establishing a strong relationship aimed to facilitate treatment goals Provide referrals and case management support Provide appropriate training, supervision and performance management of program staff What's Required: All responsibilities will be done either hybrid or remote Must be available to work at least 3 hours per week; we can work around your schedule Must be able to commit at least 1 year to this position Must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work or other graduate program in Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling Must possess a license in California as a mental health clinician (MFT, LCSW, Ph.D.) active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Science Meets the requirements of the Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide clinical supervision Must be able to supervise and manage LMFT/MSW Interns, Associates and Graduates Ability to formulate assessments of psychosocial needs of individuals Possess strong personal integrity and ethical principles Ability to motivate and encourage others Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills Must have excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to handle confidential information Demonstrated ability to provide supervision to intern/volunteers Ability to pass the mandated reporter exam Supervisor must have the appropriate technology, internet connection and ability to function in a virtual capacity via Microsoft Teams Have Questions or Need Accommodation?
