Volunteer for Veteran Hospice Patient Recognition Visits

We are looking for compassionate and respectful volunteers (veterans or active military would be great) to visit veteran hospice patients and present them with recognition awards or tokens of appreication. These visits provide an opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans, offering them comfort and gratitude int their final stages of life. Responsibilities: Veteran Recognition Visits: travel to the veterans locations (home or facility) and present with recognition items such as certificates plaques or other tokesn of appreciation for service. Personal Acknowledgement: Engate in a thoughtful and respectful conversation, expressing gratitude for their service and sacrifice. Offer focused listening and respectful presence Background and Driving Check required, valid drivers license and insurance required. Training provided.

Birthday Cheer Delivery - Patriot Hospice

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to brighten the day of hospice patients by delivering birthday wishes and special gits. These deliveries will bring joy and warmth to the partients in our hospice care. Responsibilities Birthday Gift Delivery: Deliver a birthday card and small gift (prepared by our team or donors) to hospice patients in their homes or hospice facility. Personalized Interaction: Offer a warm and friendly interaction, wishing the patient a happy birthday and offereing brief chat if the patient is open to it. Respectful Presence: Be considerate of the patient's condition and respct their space and privacy while creating a joyful experience. Requirements: Communication Skills: Ability to deliver cheerful greetings and communicate effectively particularly with elderly or unwell individuals. Reliable: Must be puncual and dependable for scheduled deliveries. Background Check: Volunteers will be required to undergo a background/Driving check and have both valid license and insurance.

Enhance Well Being of Hospice Patients and Caregivers

We are seeking volunteers with specialized skill to ehance the well being of hospice patients. If you have talent or experience playing guitar, teaching yoga, guided meditation, providing Reiki, Pet Grooming or Dog Walking, Barber or beautician or others service, we invite you to share your gifts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in our care. Your skilss and desire to provide comfor to others would be so appreciated by both patients and caregivers. Your service could be provided one on one, or perhaps througha group experience. Patriot would love to work with you to create a volunteer service that matched your needs, available time and geographical area.
