Description
Jump 4 Books, Inc is passionate about promoting childhood literacy and empowering children to achieve their full potential through the joy of reading. Our mission is to provide access to quality reading materials and educational opportunities to children in under-resourced and underserved communities in the Atlanta area and beyond. Our organization serves children in pre-kindergarten through 5 th grades (between the ages of 4 to 12 years) that attend schools in under-resourced and underserved communities. At Jump 4 Books, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential through education. By promoting childhood literacy and expanding access to quality reading materials and educational opportunities, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. We create these opportunities by:
- providing books and other educational materials to children in under-resourced and underserved communities,
- rewarding books and other educational opportunities to incentivize reading and academic success, and
- encouraging children to establish personal libraries to promote a love of reading and expand access to educational opportunities.
We have provided over 1000 books donated to Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade students along with funds provided to students to purchase books at their school’s spring book fair.
