Dear Prospective Board Member, Partnership Community Health, Inc. (PCHI) is seeking experienced, dedicated, and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes in the Covington, GA community, we are looking for seasoned professionals with prior Board experience and a strong understanding of healthcare-related issues to help guide our mission. About Us: PCHI is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the communities we serve. We work tirelessly to promote access to quality healthcare, advocate for underserved populations, and collaborate with local partners to address the most pressing health disparities in our region. Board Member Expectations: As a member of the Board of Directors, you will play an integral role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. Board members will be expected to: Participate in quarterly Board meetings. Attend and actively engage in at least 60% of all Board meetings. Contribute to organizational programming and initiatives to advance PCHI’s mission. Provide guidance and oversight on financial, operational, and strategic matters. Uphold the integrity and reputation of the organization in all professional and community interactions. Board Term and Time Commitment: The Board of Directors will serve for a defined term, with regular quarterly meetings. The term length and specific time commitment will be outlined during the onboarding process. As a volunteer with PCHI, you will play an essential role in various community engagement activities, including: Attending and assisting with community meetings Supporting partnership development initiatives Making phone calls and conducting community outreach Preparing for and facilitating community engagement workshops Coordinating and assisting with local events and meetings Volunteer Responsibilities: Understand your role and responsibilities, as well as the organization's rules and safety regulations. Complete all relevant training and seek clarification whenever needed. Perform assigned tasks and report any issues or concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with all stakeholders. Arrive on time for your shifts and carry out tasks efficiently. Make suggestions for improvements as appropriate to enhance the organization's operations. (PCH) was founded on December 11, 2022, by a group of concerned citizens who recognize the pressing need for innovative solutions to address the obstacles facing our healthcare system. With a steadfast commitment to improving health outcomes for all, PCH proudly received its 501 (c) (3) status from the IRS on January 25, 2022, enabling us to operate as a registered nonprofit charity.
