The Business Admin Office is the Heart of our Hospice... We need YOU! Agape Hospice Care is looking for volunteers to help out with at our Local Office Branch. Even if you can only commit 1-2 hours, it is still a huge and much appreciate help to our Agency and those we serve! Agape Hospice Care is a We Honor Veterans Agency. How do I get started? Fill out an application.. Sign a sheet to consent to a background check. (we pay for that..) Get a TB test - (we do them for free at our office. M-F 10-4...) Take the training courses from Relias.. Meet for an orientation.. Meet your patient or come to the office to help... This opportunity is wonderful for college students, retired men or women, veterans, anyone with a big heart looking to give back. No medical background needed. We train. With patient volunteering opportunities; No hands on care, you would just sit with a patient and talk, read, play music, and offer companionship. With administrative and support volunteering opportunites; work with our group of interdiscplinary professionals in the backworkings of the Hospice Office to help support the care being delivered to patients.. Hospice is an individualized service that is tailored to patient needs. Work as part of the team\ alongside IDG professionals or on your own through a variety of light office activities ; creating birthday cards \ mailings, working with the IDG team, helping support the day to day functions of a Hospice office in a fun and welcoming office environment. We will work with you to find a Volunteering opportunity within our organization that suits y our preference to enhance the experience of Volunteering.
