Mission Statement
WFCRC Mission Statement The mission of the World Federation for Coral Reef Conservation (WFCRC) is to advance the understanding, use, and conservation of coral reefs and coastal environments through an integrated program of excellence in data gathering/sharing, education, and outreach built upon active and long-term partnerships with divers, conservationists, the science community, and local stakeholders worldwide. The broad objectives are aimed at developing this effort and sustaining the same effort for the long term.
Description
An International 501 c 3 corporation with a unique view of how and why coral reefs are declining.
Both from an international view and a local stakeholder concern, and how to plan for the future after a mass coral die-off occurs.
Collaboration and inclusion are the cohesive factors in WFCRS's global efforts.
