Mission Statement
our mission is to empower underserved youth and their families by providing critical resources, mentorship, and support services that promote personal growth, mental health, and life skills development. We aim to create a safe, inclusive environment where young people aged 12-24 can build the skills they need to succeed in school, the workforce, and life. Through our programs, we work to break the cycle of poverty and uplift communities, fostering resilience, leadership, and a sense of belonging for all.
Description
Melabiz Community Hub was founded in 2023 with a vision to provide holistic support to underserved youth and their families in Maricopa County, Arizona. Our focus is on empowering youth aged 12-24 through a wide range of programs designed to build life skills, improve mental health, and foster leadership and community involvement. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent youth from reaching their full potential.
Our core programs include workforce development, job readiness training, financial literacy workshops, mental health counseling, and mentorship. We also host Teen Night Out, a monthly event providing a safe and fun environment for youth to socialize, build connections, and learn essential life skills. Our MYGuard Initiative focuses on safety education and gun violence prevention, giving at-risk youth tools to stay safe and thrive.
Since our founding, we’ve been proud to serve dozens of youth in the community, creating positive change through mentorship, education, and emotional support. We partner with local schools, businesses, and community organizations to provide resources that promote personal growth and long-term success.
