Mission Statement
The Preservatory's mission is to raise awareness and prevent suicide within urban communities through the elements of Hip Hop. We believe in the transformative power of this culture to cultivate self-love and survival skills providing a unique, artistic avenue for mental health support through Dance, Music, Art, and Spoken Word. The Preservatory values diversity and inclusivity and strives to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals to heal and grow. With your assistance, we can make this vision a reality for our community!
Description
The Preservatory Suicide Awareness and Prevention Non-Profit has just hit it's 2 year mark and just had our First Annual Hip-Hop Jam and Fundraiser during National Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month. We hope to build relationships with Sponsor and Donors and grant writers to grow The Preservatory's mission. We will be writing the curriculum of our first programs this month and will introduce to potential partners this month. Thank you for your consideration in supporting The Preservatory!
