We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced individual to join our leadership team in a volunteer capacity, helping shape our strategic direction and further our mission. Key Responsibilities: Build Organizational Infrastructure: ·Play a crucial role in developing, refining, and strengthening the systems and processes that support the organization’s operations. ·Collaborate with leadership to identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement solutions that increase organizational effectiveness. ·Work with various teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and documentation across all operational levels. Assist with Strategic Partnerships: ·Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and other organizations aligned with our mission. ·Collaborate on projects that extend our reach, increase resources, and drive our public health initiatives forward. ·Promote our work and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Manage Public Health/Nonprofit Internships: ·Oversee a team of public health interns and new staff, providing mentorship and support and they gain valuable, hands-on experience that contributes to their professional growth while advancing our initiatives. This volunteer position has the potential to evolve into a full-time role within the organization, offering opportunities for professional growth and long-term involvement in our mission.

Key Responsibilities: Grant Research: Identify potential funding sources, including foundations, government grants, and corporate sponsors, that align with our organization's mission and programs. Conduct thorough research on grant opportunities, ensuring a deep understanding of each funder's requirements, priorities, and timelines. Proposal Writing: Develop compelling, well-researched grant proposals that clearly articulate our organization’s mission, goals, and funding needs. Tailor each proposal to meet the specific requirements and objectives of the funding entity, demonstrating how our programs align with their priorities. Work closely with program teams to gather the necessary information, including project goals, budget needs, outcomes, and sustainability plans. Budget Development: Collaborate with financial staff and program managers to develop accurate and realistic budgets that reflect the scope and needs of each project. Ensure compliance with each funder’s financial reporting requirements and guidelines.
