Mission Statement
The Ollie Henderson Foundation was formed through the vision that he shared for his love of family, football, youth, and his commitment to the community he grew up in (Ida B. Wells-(Clarence) Darrow Homes). The Ollie Henderson Foundation is committed to supporting Wendell Phillips High School student-athletes as needed.
Description
We are a new non-profit 501 c 3 organization formed to provide monetary awards to the student-athletes of Phillips Academy High School in Chicago, IL. We have a small board of committed individuals. To date, we have had one annual gala, and we have awarded four students $250 each. We would like to do more in terms of giving to the students and fundraising.
