Mission Statement

To perpetuate the sport of eventing in the Radnor Hunt area, to support the local equestrian community, and to have fun while doing it.

Description

The sport of "eventing" is a triathlon for horse and rider as they compete in dressage, stadium jumping, and cross-country. Each autumn, about 100 horses and riders travel to beautiful Radnor Hunt and gallop across its fields, jump fences in a stadium ring setting, and perform dressage. A portion of the event's proceeds is distributed to nonprofits supporting equestrian sports and equine welfare, preservation of open space, and more. The Radnor Hunt Horse Trials has been a Chester County tradition for 52 years.
