Objectives of this Role: Design and implement machine learning algorithms that enhance Skyeyez’s AI-powered surveillance platform. Solve complex problems using large, multilayered datasets, optimizing models for performance and scalability. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deploy machine learning models into production and improve system efficiency. Identify and address potential data distribution issues to ensure robust, real-world model performance. Continuously improve and update models to generate accurate crime predictions and user recommendations. Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advancements, incorporating new methods and technologies to enhance our platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop and fine-tune machine learning models for real-time security and crime prediction applications. Analyze complex datasets and data science prototypes, applying appropriate machine learning techniques to security challenges. Conduct experiments and rigorous testing to ensure model accuracy and efficiency, documenting results thoroughly. Train, retrain, and maintain machine learning models to improve system accuracy and functionality. Build and optimize data pipelines for seamless integration of data into machine learning models, ensuring scalability. Work with leadership to align AI/ML objectives with broader business goals, enhancing product outcomes. Expand and improve existing machine learning frameworks and libraries to continuously push the boundaries of AI in security. Skills and Qualifications: Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI methodologies, including proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenCV. Extensive experience with data structures, data modeling, and large-scale AI systems architecture. Solid understanding of NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics for practical security applications. Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries and tools. Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Agentic Systems, Vector Databases, and Semantic Search. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer with a strong portfolio of AI/ML projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
