WovenCare Advocacy Services is a non-profit organization founded by Kenya Moorer to provide comprehensive support and advocacy for individuals and families facing sudden traumatic medical events, particularly in underserved communities. Inspired by Kenya’s own experiences navigating the healthcare system after a life-threatening event, our mission is to empower and guide families through crises by offering case management, educational workshops, healthcare enrollment assistance, and mental health initiatives like the "Weaving Life: A Suicide Prevention Initiative." As a Certified Application Counselor Designated Organization and a registered 501(c)(3) charity, we strive to reduce healthcare disparities and promote resilience and hope. Volunteers are vital to our mission, helping us expand our impact and bring much-needed resources to those who need them most.
