Summary The Technology Lead at Relif will play a hands-on role in developing and implementing technology solutions that support the organization's mission. This volunteer position requires expertise in modern web technologies, including TypeScript, Next.js, MongoDB, and Golang (using the Chi framework). The ideal candidate will actively contribute to coding projects and collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Define and implement the overall technology architecture, selecting appropriate frameworks, tools, and design patterns. Ensure efficient and maintainable code practices across projects, reviewing code, and providing constructive feedback to the team. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on our technology stack. Hands-On Development: Take ownership of critical components of the system, writing high-quality, well-documented, and testable code. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely solutions and minimizing system downtime. Contribute to performance optimization and capacity planning efforts, ensuring the system can handle increasing demands. Team Management: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and open communication. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they align with our technical standards. Project Management: Work closely with the executive and research team to understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks. Establish project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and track progress towards milestones. Anticipate and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requirements: Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in full-stack development using TypeScript, Next.js, MongoDB, and GoLang (with Chi). Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design principles. Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure,GCP).
