Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration and education to assist Black Indie Filmmakers in their pursuit to create films that represent our visions. This will include film festivals, screenings and other events that showcase films of color. We believe that a strong organization funded by community support, business sponsorships, scholarships, and goodwill donations from the general public will help realize our vision. We also believe that we must be a strong advocate in the Film Industry to help bring about change when it comes to bringing our stories to the big screen as well as the new emerging online platforms where we have very little say or the ability to get our films viewed because of the lack of funding.
Description
We here at the Black Independent Filmmakers Association are dedicated to bringing you the best from our Indie Media Community of Actors, Writers and Directors.
